There is a section for service animals on the theater mezzanine. All audience members with animals should sit here. ONLY Fragrance-Free people who are chemically injured and have animals that are hypoallergenic may sit in the Fragrance-Free seating section.
The lobby, theater, and all-gender restrooms are wheelchair accessible. There is an elevator to reach the mezzanine, while other areas can be reached from the lobby.
Deaf & Hard of Hearing
All films are Open Captioned/Subtitled for the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing.
During the Film Festival, ASL Interpreters will be available in the lobby and theater.
These lights make sounds but do NOT flash. Ushers and ASL interpreters are briefed on emergency procedures for Deaf & Hard-of-Hearing audience members.
There are LEDs in the lobby, the hallways, and the seating area of the theater. There are FLUORESCENT lights in the bathrooms, and WORK lights on stage and in the studio. The entire building has WI-FI. We ask that audience members do NOT use cell phones except for urgent matters. Only Crisis Counselors and parents/guardians with children in Childcare may use their phones.
Any audience members who experience intense emotional reactions (triggering, distress, anxiety, panic) to film content, events and/or environmental factors at the Film Festival can go to the Front Desk to be connected to Crisis Counselors, who will be available at all screenings and events.
Please do NOT wear, bathe, use hair care items or wash clothing with products containing "Fragrance" (as marked on the label). It will make someone else sick and force them to leave the theater.
The Queer Women of Color Film Festival:
- • RESPECTFULLY REQUESTS that all audience members, volunteers, partners and community members AVOID scented-products, and REFRAIN from wearing, bathing with, using on their bodies or washing their clothing with products that have fragrance as marked on the label.
- • OFFERS SCENT-FREE seating
- • WORKS with our venue to use fragrance-free, non-toxic cleaning products and other supplies, and avoid scented products
All genders are welcome in our wheelchair accessible restrooms.
